USSARIZONA.ORG KIDS PRIVACY POLICY (COPPA)
General:
USSARIZONA.ORG respects and protects the privacy of our users. We encourage other sites to join us in this effort. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our Children's Privacy Policy please Contact Us

Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Information:
The only use we make of personal information (usually e-mail addresses) is to respond one time to a question or request for information from a child. We do not otherwise make use of personal information, nor do we provide it to third parties.

Your use and browsing of the Site is at your risk. If you are dissatisfied with any of the materials contained in the Site, with the quality of service or Content, or with these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue accessing and using the Site.

Parental Consent:
If we decide to collect personal information for other reasons, we will notify parents that it is being requested, disclose the reasons for collecting it, and disclose our intended use for it. We will seek parental consent before collecting any personally identifiable information. If we do collect it, parents may request information on the type of data being collected, view their child's information, and, if they choose, prohibit us from making further use of their child's information. We will not provide personal information to third parties.

Message Boards:
Kids who submit a message to our online forums or send messages via our contact form or email do so directly on web pages housed on USSARIZONA.ORG servers. It is our policy to collect only information (such as first name, age, state, and country) that is necessary to participate in these and other activities. A user's message cannot be traced back to him or her because no personal information is given unless the child discloses the information in a message.

Though we do our best to protect the privacy of children who visit our site, it is the parent's responsibility first and foremost to monitor their child's online activity. We provide no information to third parties.

Student Projects:
If a child submits a project or story idea, only their first name, age and grade will be used. Parent's will be furnished with complete details of how their child's information will be used on the web site. Additional information such as school name, state and teacher's name will only be used with the parent's permission. Parent's can ask to have their child's information removed from the project at any time.

Photo of the Week and Featured Poems/Stories:
If a child submits a photo or poem/story for use on the site, their name and other personal information will not be disclosed on USSARIZONA.ORG without the parent's consent.

U.S. federal law prohibits us from requiring kids to give any more personal information than is necessary to participate in a given activity.

When children click on links from USSARIZONA.ORG to other sites, we may open the other sites in a new browser window.

We make every effort to link to appropriate outside sites for kids. Unlike USSARIZONA.ORG, however, these outside sites may collect personal information.
