Of the objects salvaged from the
Arizona, one of the two bow anchors is prominently displayed at the entrance to the
Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. The other anchor, located on the grounds of Arizona's state capitol in Phoenix, was dedicated as a memorial to the ship's crewmen on December 7, 1976. Cast in Chester, Pennsylvania in 1911, each anchor weighs 19,585 pounds.
