HONOLULU (Tribune News Service) — USS Arizona survivor Clarendon “Clare” Hetrick was looking forward to the reunion of his shipmates in Hawaii on the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack this December.

Survivor John D. Anderson Dies

We are saddend to report the passing of John Delmar Anderson, of Roswell, NM, last night at age 98.

Mr. Anderson enlisted in the Navy March 16, 1937 from Minneapolis, MN. and reported onboard the USS Arizona December 6, 1940, just one year before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
